In trading, leverage usually means borrowing a certain amount of funds to gain exposure to a particular market with a relatively small deposit. Leverage allows you to hold positions far greater than the amount of money deposited in your account, and is usually expressed as a ratio. For example, if your account balance is $100 and the leverage is 1:30, you can actually have up to $3,000 in contracts across all active trades.

Margin is the amount of money required to open or maintain a position. This is not a fee or transaction cost, but simply a portion of your account equity that is set and allocated as a margin deposit. Margin requirements can vary depending on the market you trade, where your account is based, and the size of your trades. If you do not have sufficient available funds, you will not be able to open a position on the trading platform. The available amount shown on the trading platform is the amount you can use to open additional positions. Typically, margin is expressed as a percentage of the position size (for example, 2% or 5%). Margin can be calculated using the following formula: Margin Requirement = (Current Market Price x Number of Lots x Product Size) / Leverage Ratio For example: The current market price of EUR/USD is 1.35645, your account leverage is 1:30, and you want to trade one standard lot. Your margin is calculated as follows: (1.35645 x 1 x 100,000) / 30 = $4521.5 In this example, the margin for this position is $4521.5, so to open a position of this size, you need to have at least $4521.5 of available funds in your trading account.

In order to avoid additional fees due to currency conversion, it is strongly recommended that all deposit currencies be consistent with the base currency of your trading account. (Please note that according to the regulations of international anti-money laundering agencies, our system does not accept transfers from company bank accounts and third-party accounts to personal Antbit accounts. Therefore, all future deposits and withdrawals should be made from/to personal bank accounts.)
